Many people feel anxiety when it comes to dental care.

That’s okay, and it’s nothing to be embarrassed about.

Whatever the reason for your anxiety, whether you had a bad experience as a child or you aren’t exactly sure what has led to your feelings, Sarasota dentist Dr. Kaya Aygen and our entire team will help you have a great dental experience – even if you never thought that was possible!

How We Personalize Your Care

We start by taking the time to get to know you and understand your unique needs and concerns. No two patients are alike, and we see you as so much more than a set of teeth. We’ll listen carefully to your concerns and work together with you to come up with a plan to address them.

We take advantage of modern technology, which has helped make dental treatment more comfortable, safer, and more successful than ever before. While dental lasers might sound scary, they actually allow for comfortable treatment in place of surgery in many cases. You probably never expected to see the words “root canal” and “comfortable” in the same sentence, but using rotary endodontic instruments and techniques, Dr. Aygen can actually provide more comfortable root canals!

Of course, comfort also has to do with the overall feel of the office, and we haven’t skimped there, either. You’ll feel welcome and at home from the moment you walk in. Our lobby has the feel of a living room, you can enjoy a beverage before your appointment, our friendly staff will greet you, and you can even relax during your appointment with noise-cancelling headphones!

We recognize that you still might be feeling anxious. If you need extra help relaxing and feeling comfortable, we’ve got you covered there, too.

Sedation Dentistry with Your Sarasota Dentist

Dr. Aygen is certified in IV conscious sedation, the deepest form of conscious sedation possible. A calming medication is introduced directly into your bloodstream, where it works to soothe your worries, calm your mind, and relax your body. While the medication won’t cause you to lose consciousness, some patients become so relaxed that they actually fall asleep during their treatment! IV sedation dims the noises of the dental office and makes your appointment seem to fly by.

We are happy to discuss your options and determine whether sedation dentistry is right for you. Please call Sarasota Dental Arts today to schedule a consultation with Dr. Aygen and see what’s different about our office for yourself.
