Dr. Aygen has always made the health and safety of our patients the number one priority in the practice. Our high standard of care ensures that your health and safety are never compromised. He prides himself on providing the highest level of infection control, which means he’s constantly exploring the latest precautions and standards as they advance to ensure the office is absolutely above that standard.

New Safety Technology

We’ve added a number of Medical grade HEPA filtration systems to our office that will be cleaning the air on a consistent basis. Aerosols that may have formed throughout the day are now being filtered with these new purifiers. These new purifiers offer a medical-grade 6-stage filtration system that can help deodorize, disinfect, and remove dangerous airborne particles in indoor environments (far beyond what’s found in common commercial and residential air filters).

We’ve also purchased a number of medical fume extractors that will be used for aerosol inducing procedures. The system is equipped with a high output motor that sucks and pulls airborne contaminants away from the patient and dental team and into the filtration system. Thereby, eliminating the aerosols produced.

We will now be using Ozone in the office.  Ozone is a safe, effective, nontoxic therapy that will kill viruses. Ozonated water will run through our water lines for use in all dental procedures. Ozone treatment will be done every night to help deodorize, disinfect, kill, and remove any airborne particles that were produced throughout the day.

Check out our technology page for more information.

Procedures

Each procedure will now start with a 60-second pre-procedural rinse with hydrogen peroxide, a powerful antiseptic, and antiviral agent. We have specified time set aside at the end of each patient visit to clean and disinfect each treatment area. We are taking extended measures to further protect all our patients and team by increasing the number of times we are routinely wiping down the waiting area, front desk, and all surfaces that have been touched throughout the day.

These extra precautions ensure a clean, sterile, and healthy environment upon your arrival, so you never have to worry about your next appointment at Sarasota Dental Arts!
