What do veneers treat?

A dental veneer is an excellent way to enhance your smile and repair cosmetic issues. A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain designed to fit over your tooth and bond directly to it. Because it covers your tooth, it is capable of eliminating cosmetic issues such as stains, size discrepancies, misshapen teeth, chipping, and even slight misalignment issues.

Veneers are durable, stain resistant, and have the potential to last for 10 to 12 years with excellent home care and consistent checkups with Dr. Aygen.

The process for completing veneers takes two visits and a couple of weeks once you've decided you're ready to move forward. During the first visit, Dr. Aygen prepares your teeth for your final restorations and creates temporary veneers that you will wear while your final ones are being hand crafted at a local dental laboratory. After 1 to 2 weeks, when your final veneers are ready, you'll return Sarasota Dental Arts to have your permanent veneers placed.
